Garbage Truck Gets Tangled In Power Lines In Old Saybrook

OLD SAYBROOK, CT — A garbage truck got tangled in power lines leading to a partial road closure Monday morning in Old Saybrook, according to fire officials. The area of 900 Boston Post Road near the Old Saybrook Diner at the intersection of King Street was closed at about 10 a.m. as crews from Eversource were responding to the scene.

There were no injuries reported, according to fire officials.
