Morgan School Cracks Top 5 of Final Boys Soccer Poll
The Huskies marched to the Class S finals before being upended by Old Saybrook in a 2-1 nailbiter Sunday at Middletown High School.

CLINTON, CT — A Class S championship game appearance propelled The Morgan School into fifth position in the final Class M-S coaches poll for 2018.
The Huskies, the No. 4 seed following a 12-2-2 regular season, defeated three tournament opponents by a combined 11-1 scoring margin before being knocked off by Old Saybrook 2-1 in the finals. Morgan placed behind Class M champion Plainville, M runner-up Ellington, Old Saybrook and M semifinalist Stonington in the final balloting.
Class LL champion Glastonbury, which won its second straight title by knocking off No. 2 Hall in the championship game, was the top vote-getter in Classes LL-L.
