Police say several roads are closed due to downed trees and power lines.

CLINTON, CT — Several roads are closed in Clinton due to downed trees and power lines, according to police. Heavy winds and rain have knocked down many trees and damaged the poles and power lines, police said.
Police are advising motorists to drive with extreme caution and say the following roads are closed: Nod Road from East Shore to the town Highway Department Partridge Lane and Egypt Lane. (UPDATE, 3:10 p.m.) A tree is across wires in the area of 125 Cow Hill Road, according to police.
