1,000 Watches Stolen From Clinton Crossing Store

Robbers stole 1,000 watches worth more than $175,000 from the Fossil Store in the Clinton Crossing Premium Outlets after breaking into the shop in the predawn hours and destroying the display cases.

Clinton police said the suspects — it was not revealed how many there were — smashed the lock to the store sometime between 4 and 5:30 a.m., on Saturday, Aug. 3, and stole Fossil, Michael Kors and Emporio Armani brand watches.

The suspects were wearing masks and gloves, according to police.

The burglary was discovered Saturday morning, Aug. 3, around 9 a.m. when employees opened the store for business.
