"Tony Mack," Suspect In Clinton Sexual Assault Complaint, Nabbed In Seymour

Cody Urban, also known as "Tony Mack," 21, has been arrested and charged in connection with a complaint made about a sexual assault that occurred in Clinton on Oct. 3, 2013, according to the Clinton Police Department. 

The assault occurred in the town of Clinton on 10-03-13. The victim made a complaint to police and as a result of an investigation an arrest warrant was sought and issued by the Middletown Superior court," the press release from the Clinton Police Department said. 

Urban was charged with aggravated sexual assault in the first degree with a firearm, unlawful restraint first degree, assault in the second degree, strangulation first degree, carrying a dangerous weapon, and threatening in the first degree. 

Urban's address was given as 33 Light St. Stratford, CT and 10500 Ford Ave in Mendocino, CA.

Court: URBAN WAS HELD ON A $500,000.00 COURT SET BOND AND IS SCHEDULED TO APPEAR IN MIDDLETOWN SUPERIOR COURT ON 10-18-13 AT 0900 hrs.                                                           

Brief Summary of Incident

On 10/17/2013 at about 0900 hrs the Seymour police arrested the above accused on an arrest warrant held by this agency for the above listed charges. The Seymour police received a tip on Urban's location and located him at the above address. The address is an old mechanic garage converted by Urban into an Art studio.

It appears Urban had been hiding there as he was aware of warrants for his arrest. Urban was wanted by this agency for the above charges after an arrest warrant was signed on 10-10-13. This stems from a sexual assault complaint against Urban. The assault occurred in the town of Clinton on 10-03-13. The victim made a complaint to police and as a result of an investigation an arrest warrant was sought and issued by the Middletown Superior court.

Urban was transported to the Clinton Police Department where he was processed and held on the court set bond of $500,000.00. Urban is scheduled to appear in Middletown Superior court on 10-18-13 at 0900hrs.
