VFW Auxiliary Open House

Clinton VFW Post is trying to start a Auxiliary.

Clinton VFW Post 9918 is seeking patriotic men and women to join them in making a difference in the lives of Clinton Veterans, active-duty military and their families. The Post is hosting a Meet and Greet October 25, 2018 for men and women who want to learn more about the organization and its work in our community.

The VFW Auxiliary is one of the nation’s oldest veterans’ service organizations. The Auxiliary has half a million members representing all 50 states who volunteer millions of hours and give millions of dollars to support veterans, military service personnel, and their families. An Auxiliary provides its members an opportunity to honor and give back to all who have served, and who are serving, this great nation. The VFW Auxiliary’s tagline is “Unwavering Support for Uncommon Heroes” and its members are related to a veteran that has served in overseas combat.

Clinton VFW Post 9918 is starting an Auxiliary. If you are sixteen years or older, a United States Citizen or a United States National and you have a familial relationship (within two generations) with someone that has served in overseas combat, you are cordially invited to join. Please stop by the American Legion Hall located at 82 West Main Street, Clinton between 5:30 P.M and 7:30 P.M. on October 25, 2018. Department VFW Auxiliary President Laura Allen and Department Chief of Staff Judy Barnes will be present to answer any questions you may have. Refreshments will be served.
