Winter Team State Championship History: The Morgan School
The Morgan School has earned four state team championships in winters past.
CLINTON, CT — As practices for high school winter sports officially get underway Monday (girls basketball, ice hockey and wrestling) and Thursday (boys basketball, indoor track, boys swimming and girls gymnastics), hopes run high for all teams to achieve the ultimate goal: winning a league championship, and possibly a state title.
To help squads get into the championship mentality, here is a listing of the three CIAC winter team titles won by The Morgan School in past years (* - indicates a co-op team).
- girls basketball (2) - Class M: 1996, 2000
- wrestling (1) - Class S: 1999
- boys basketball (1) - Class M: 1992
