AAA Honors Darien Police For Traffic Safety Achievements

The Darien department was recognized for its various safe driving initiatives.

DARIEN, CT — AAA Northeast recently honored the Darien Police Department with a Gold Award for the department’s varied traffic safety programs, AAA announced.

The Darien department was recognized for its child passenger safety clinics, bicycle safety efforts and "Drop It and Drive" activities with Darien High School.

Darien police also hosts AAA driving improvement program classes on weekends instructed by Officer T. Court Isaac.

The award was presented at AAA’s 10th Annual Community Traffic Safety Awards lunch, which recently was held at Testo’s in Bridgeport.
