Annual Holiday Tree Lighting In Darien Dec. 1

City of Darien: It’s ALMOST the most wonderful time of the year! Holiday cheer is on its way and will be arriving Sunday, December 1st at the Darien Sport Shop for the 41st Annual Tree Lighting! This FREE event includes a performance from the Darien High School Tudor Singers, lots of festive giveaways, the much anticipated tree lighting and of course… Santa! Festivities will begin at 4:30pm with Santa arriving by Fire Truck at 5:00pm! This is a magical town tradition that brings the community together for an evening of goodwill to begin your holiday season. For this event, you can leave that wallet at home, all you’ll need to bring is your holiday spirit! Save the date: 12.1.19. Please join the Darien Sport Shop in partnership with Darien Parks and Recreation for this festive community tradition.
