Author James Mustich Discusses New Book At Darien Event Dec. 2

Darien Historical Society and Barrett Bookstore are sponsoring the event about "1,000 Books to Read Before You Die: A Life-Changing List."

DARIEN, CT — Connecticut author James Mustich will discuss and sign copies of his new book "1,000 Books to Read Before You Die: A Life-Changing List" during a presentation Sunday, Dec. 2, at the Darien Historical Society, 45 Old Kings Highway in Darien.

The event, which is co-sponsored by the Society and Barrett Bookstore, is scheduled for 3 p.m.

"A compulsively readable and enlightening new book that ranges across cultures and time, Mustich’s eclectic volume is a celebration of reading — and of our literary and historical heritage," organizers stated.

Cost for the event is $5 for members, $20 for non-members and $30 for non-members and guest.

For Barrett Bookstore customers, the event is free, according to the shop. "Tickets for the James Mustich event are FREE to Barrett Bookstore customers. Please call the bookstore on 203-655-2712 to sign up. Please leave your name, phone number and number of guests."
