The Community Fund of Darien Unveils New Website

DARIEN, CT - The Community Fund of Darien proudly announces the launch of their new website located at www.CommunityFundDarien.org. The website is designed to increase awareness and support for those who are most vulnerable in Stamford, Norwalk and Darien by sharing local needs assessment data and the positive impact of Community Fund grant awards to local nonprofits and community initiatives. “We believe that when local residents know the extent of the needs around them, they respond with compassion and generosity to help their neighbors. We are committed to providing a website that offers an engaging and informative way for residents to learn more about the needs around us and how they can help,” said Carrie Bernier, Executive Director of The Community Fund of Darien.

The updated and modernized style of the website allows for a much more user-friendly and informative experience, with infographics and compelling visual imagery to share important information quickly and clearly. For each of The Community Fund’s four funding goals – Basic Needs, Youth Success, Self-Sufficiency, and Eye on Darien – there is information on the needs of our neighbors and The Community Fund’s response with grant awards and community initiatives. The site allows visitors to donate online to a specific funding goal or to all of the funding goals and support a range of needs. The site also provides information on the staff, Board of Directors, history of the organization, financials, grants, events and news.

The Community Fund of Darien is an independent, results-oriented, volunteer-driven nonprofit organization that addresses health and human services needs in Darien and our surrounding towns of Stamford and Norwalk. We are dedicated to building a healthy community by:
