Darien HS Sign Defaced By Vandals After Hockey Loss

The sign at the entrance to the high school was spray-painted.

DARIEN, CT — The entrance sign at Darien High School was defaced sometime over the weekend when vandals spray-painted "4-3," the score of New Canaan's Saturday night FCIAC victory over Darien in boys hockey.

CT HS Hockey posted a photo of the vandalized sign on Twitter, which was later reported by the Darien Times.

"A couple dingbats decided property damage was a good way to celebrate a conference championship," the tweet reads. "Dumb."
