DARIEN, CT — The Darien Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect from one of the recent car burglaries that have plagued the community over the past several weeks.

"A town resident who was victimized in a motor vehicle burglary was able to provide us with these images thanks to their home-surveillance system," wrote police officials on the department's Twitter page on Friday. "If you recognize this man, please call us at 203.662.5300 and reference case 2019-008549."

In recent weeks, several vehicles have been stolen or burglarized in Darien, prompting the department to urge residents to lock their cars and take their keys and valuables with them.
