Darien Resident Named To New Position At Swisher

Swisher, a category leader in adult consumer lifestyle brands, today announced Joe Augustus has been named Executive Vice President. In this new role, Augustus will now oversee Swisher’s Inclusion, Diversity & Transformation and Corporate Giving in addition to his current responsibilities leading Corporate Global Affairs and International sales and distribution.

“In his new role as EVP, Joe’s current responsibilities in leading our global affairs, he will lead our company’s diversity, inclusion and transformation initiatives, in addition to our corporate giving and community service initiatives,” said John Miller, President of Swisher. “Diversity and community are important to every member of our team and we look forward to Joe’s insights and innovations in these areas.”

With a career in the industry beginning in 1979 as a College Marketing Representative, Augustus rose to the position of Senior Vice President, Global Affairs, assuming responsibilities for state and federal global affairs overseeing a team in Jacksonville, FL and Washington, DC. In assuming the role of Executive Vice President, Global Affairs, Augustus also takes on responsibility for the oversight and implementation of Swisher’s diversity, inclusion and transformation initiatives and corporate and community giving.
