How did you come up with the name?

I wanted a name that would be timeless. My first thought was Studio 54. Studio 54 was fun and the name has lived on through the years. The Studio in Darien has fabulous hair, fabulous stylists, and provides an overall pleasurable experience for clients.

Why start a business in this town?

Darien is a cozy and fun town. There is always something happening whether it be charity events or friendly get togethers. I want to be able to contribute to the area by giving residents a place to have a memorable experience from start to finish.

What business are you in?

Hair Salon/Massage Services/Aesthetic Services

What’s the most difficult challenge you’ve faced as a business owner?

My clients and employees are my priority. At times it is challenging to make big decisions while factoring in everyone’s best interest.

What’s been your proudest achievement since opening?

It’s hard to simplify that into one achievement. The fact that we are still here four years later says a lot. I’m so proud of the success of the salon as whole. We are growing every year and I can only thank my amazing staff for always striving to grow the business with me.

How does your business give back to the community?

Giving back isn’t always measured in monetary ways. We try to be a part of the community as much as we can whether that be cross promotion with a local business or a donation of our services We try to support the town just as much as they have and continue to support us.
