Which of those situations applied to Wee Burn was not disclosed. Patch reached out to Warren Burdock, the club's general manager, for comment about the suspension but did not immediately receive a reply.

In addition to the suspension of its permit, the club also paid a $15,000 fine, according to state officials.

"The Liquor Control Commission may impose fines on permittees and suspend or revoke liquor permits in connection with violations of Connecticut liquor control statutes or regulations," officials said.
