Dozen Under Quarantine At Darien Middle School Due To Coronavirus
Twelve people from the Middlesex Middle School community have been instructed to quarantine following the discovery of a positive test.
DARIEN, CT — A dozen people in the Middlesex Middle School community have been placed under quarantine this week following a positive coronavirus test by one of them, Darien Board of Education Chair Tara Ochman confirmed to Patch Thusday.
Due to privacy concerns, information on who tested positive, and who is under quarantine, was not disclosed. The quarantine will last 10 days.
Patch reached to Darien Schools Superintendent Dr. Alan Addley for more information, but he did not immediately reply.

In an email to parents, Addley said the infected person had not been at the school since Sept. 17, reports the Darien Times.
Darien Public Schools, which is currently under a hybrid model, is on pace to move to in-person schooling beginning Sept. 29, according to officials.
