Heights Road In Darien Closed Monday, Tuesday Due To Construction

The closure is slated for the area near number 40 Heights Road.

DARIEN, CT — Construction in the area of 40 Heights Road in Darien will close the street on Monday and Tuesday, July 13-14, according to Darien police. If needed, the road also could be closed on Tuesday.

The closures will be in effect between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Vehicles traveling westbound on Heights Road will be detoured through the Noroton Heights Train Station parking lot, while vehicles traveling eastbound will be detoured north on Edgerton Street to West Avenue.

"Vehicles will be able access all of the open Heights Road and area businesses," police said. "Traffic officers will be present to facilitate the flow of traffic and ample signage will be in place to safely direct motorists to navigate the area."
