CT Weather: Thunderstorms Expected This Afternoon

The National Weather Service says thunderstorms are possible today and there could even be some small hail and strong winds.

This morning is the quiet before the possible storm this afternoon. After 2 p.m. showers and thunderstorms are expected to breakout across the state and some of the storms could produce small hail and gusty winds, according to the National Weather Service.

After the stormy weather moves through early Wednesday, we're looking at beautiful three days of weather through Friday. But unfortunately, as of right now, the weather for the upcoming weekend doesn't look great.

Lots of clouds and some rain is in the forecast, especially for Sunday. Saturday appears mostly cloudy with a less than 50 percent chance of rain showers.
