CT Weather: Heavy Rain, Thunderstorms Possible Tuesday

Every weather story over the past couple of weeks has featured some sort of doom and gloom as Connecticut has been bombarded with heavy rain, thunderstorms and flooding concerns. Here is some good news on a Monday morning, next weekend looks good with sunshine and temps in the 80s. We've more than earned a nice summer weather weekend.

And now back to the doom and gloom stuff. The National Weather Service says there is a chance for flash flooding on Tuesday and "heavy showers and thunderstorms." The weather remains unsettled on Monday and Tuesday but beginning on Wednesday the weather improves significantly as sun dominates. Temps will heat up later this week too and approach 90 degrees.
