The Mather Homestead hosts Plein Air Weeks!

The Mather Homestead welcomes artists and aspiring artists to the Mather Homestead property to paint, draw, photograph, and be inspired during “Plein Air Weeks 2021.” Located on Darien’s beautiful “four corners,” the six acre Mather Homestead Property features historic buildings and well, beautiful gardens, and is even frequented by a family of turkeys who love to pose for artists. The artwork of twelve artists who participated in Plein Air Week 2020 has been on display in the new Elizabeth W. Chilton Education Center, fondly known as “the barn,” during this past year.
