New Hot Chicken Joint Planned For Post Road In Darien: Report

DARIEN, CT — A new hot chicken restaurant is slated to open in the former HSBC Bank on the Post Road in Darien later this year, reports The Hour.

Birdcode Hot Chicken, which "specializes in Nashville style Hot Chicken," has a location in West Hartford, and the Darien spot will be the restaurant's first location in Fairfield County.

The restaurant serves up chicken dishes with a choice of five levels of hotness, according to the menu:

The owners, Brandi and Phil Killoran, said they hope to have the Darien restaurant up and running by the fall.
