Portable Toilet on Fire Overnight at House Construction Site
The cause of the fire, reported at about 2 a.m., was not immediately determined.
A 1:57 a.m. report of a fire brought Noroton Heights firefighters and police to the site of a house under construction near the intersection of Hollow Tree Ridge Road and Middlesex Road on Tuesday, April 28.
The fire, it turned out, was coming from a plastic portable toilet. Firefighters extinguished it. The cause was not immediately determined. The toilet was replaced later by the Got To Go portable toilet business. Police are investigating the incident.
