Portion Of Raymond Street In Darien To Be Closed Dec. 13: Update
The closure, which was rescheduled due to impending inclement weather, is to allow for the repair of drainage pipes.

DARIEN, CT — The town will close a portion of Raymond Street in Darien to through traffic from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 13, to allow for the repairs of drainage pipes, according to the Darien Department of Public Works. Officials rescheduled the work from earlier in the week because of expected inclement weather.
The closure will be between the intersections of Littlebrook Road and Cliff Avenue; Raymond Street is a major cut through road which allows traffic to cross the railroad corridor.

- From south of the RR tracks to north side of tracks on Raymond Street to north of RR tracks on Raymond Street, detour directions are, on Cliff Avenue, turn right (west) on Tokeneke Road, turn right (east) on Post Road, turn right (east) on Old Kings Highway South, turn right on Raymond Street, end detour.
- From north of the RR tracks on Raymond Street to south of RR tracks on Raymond Street, detour directions are, on Raymond Street turn left (west) onto Old Kings Highway North to Post Road, turn left (west) on Post Road, turn left (east) on Center Street, turn left (east) on Old Kings Highway South, turn right (east) on Tokeneke Road, turn left (north) on Cliff Avenue, end detour.
