Sewer Work In Darien Scheduled For March 2 & 3

Work on both days is scheduled to run from approximately 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

DARIEN, CT — Routine maintenance on a sewer collection system is scheduled for March 2 and 3 on Hoyt Street (RT 106) in Darien from the intersection of Greenwood Avenue to Barringer Road, according to officials. Work on both days is scheduled to run from approximately 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The town has hired Green Mountain Pipeline Services to perform maintenance work, and all personnel will carry identification.

"No one will need to enter your home or property," officials said to assure residents of the upcoming work. "There is no action required on your part. There will be no interruption in your sewer service. You may continue to use water throughout our operations."

Some slight traffic delays may occur in the area during the day, but Darien Police or flagmen will be on site for traffic control.
