Connecticut Weather: Winter Storm Watch Issued For Snowstorm

A Winter Storm Watch has already been issued for the snowstorm. Here is how much snow is expected to accumulate.

The first day of spring is just 15 days away and of course that means the potentially biggest snowstorm of the year is in Connecticut's forecast. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for the entire state in anticipation of a nor'easter that is expected to bring a minimum of six inches of snow to the state on Wednesday. The weather service says some areas could see up to a foot of snow.

This is expected to be a long duration snowstorm. Snow is expected in the early morning hours of Wednesday and could continue until Thursday morning. (Latest update as snow totals rise. Connecticut Weather: Up to a Foot of Snow Possible In Places).
