Stop Watering Your Lawns So Often, Aquarion Tells Several Darien Residents
The water company says several residents are violating restrictions on watering.
DARIEN, CT — Aquarion Water Company is telling several Darien residents to stop watering their lawns so often, reports the Darien News.
The area water utility has put in place weekly two-day watering restrictions, but hundreds of residents have reportedly disregarded those requirements. And just over three dozen have been warned twice about the violation.

A third violation and water can be shut off, according to First Selectman Jayme Stevenson, who vows to fight such a punishment on behalf of a homeowner because water is so important to overall survival.
