Suspect Arrested In Connection With Darien Drive-By Shooting: PD
No injuries were reported in the Aug. 1 shooting on West Avenue in Darien.

DARIEN, CT — A 34-year-old Bridgeport man has been arrested on a warrant in connection with a drive-by shooting in Darien earlier this month, according to Darien police. No injuries were reported in the shooting.
Frantz Maignan, of North Summerfield Street, was taken into custody by Stratford police and turned over to Darien police on Wednesday. The circumstances of his arrest were not disclosed.

- Criminal use of a firearm
- Criminal possession of a firearm
- Unlawful discharge of a firearm (7 counts)
- First-degree reckless endangerment
The shooting occurred on Aug. 1. Maignan is accused of firing numerous gunshots from a moving vehicle at another vehicle on West Avenue in Darien.
Darien police detectives were quickly able to identify Maignan as a suspect, following an investigation, and obtained a warrant for his arrest.

Maignan was being held in lieu of bail of $150,000, and he is scheduled to be arraigned in Stamford Superior Court on Thursday.
