'Suspicious Object' Delays Metro-North Trains In Noroton Heights
The object was discovered near the train tracks on Tuesday morning.
DARIEN, CT — The discovery of a "suspicious object" near the train tracks by the Noroton Heights Train Station Tuesday delayed Metro-North trains for about 20 minutes, according to Darien and MTA police.
Authorities did not disclose what the object was, but officials "deemed the object safe" by about 10:40 a.m. and allowed trains to continue to their destinations.
"Please contact the Darien Police with any suspicious items seen at either of our train stations," Darien police wrote on the department's Twitter page. "#SeeSomethingSaySomething."
