Vehicle Stolen From Darien Found In Maryland: Police

DARIEN, CT — A 2015 Chevrolet Corvette reported stolen from a driveway on Goodwives River Rd. last week was later found in Maryland, according to police.

In a news release, Police Sgt. James Palmieri said the owner reported the vehicle stolen on June 23.

The owner told police they awoke to the sound of the vehicle starting and saw it pulling out of the driveway through the window, Palmieri said. The vehicle was unlocked with the keys inside at the time of the incident.

The following day, police received word the vehicle had been recovered in Greenbelt City, Md., Palmieri said.
