Water Conservation Discussion In Darien Aug. 15

DARIEN, CT — A public discussion on ways to conserve water is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Aug. 15 in the Board of Education Meeting Room at 35 Leroy Avenue in Darien, officials announced.
The meeting is hosted by the Darien Advisory Committee on Sustainability, and co-sponsored by the Darien Nature Center and Darien Pollinator Pathway.
"There are many ways to save water and they all start with you!" officials wrote on the town's website. "Join us to learn and in the meantime, take this brief SURVEY on water usage."

Following opening remarks from First Selectman Jayme Stevenson, the meeting will feature a discussion from panelists Carolyn Bayne, Moderator; Twig Holland, Aquarion Water; Nisha Nalawade, Darien High School Senior; and Deepika Saksena & Juliet Cain, Darien Pollinator Pathway.
