The last time the Darien Blue Wave Boy Volleyball team lost in regular season was March 30, 2019. The Blue Wave traveled to the gym of the New Canaan Rams Tuesday afternoon and extended their regular season win streak to 23 games.
Anytime Darien and New Canaan lock horns the underdog always plays better than normal. The rivaly brings out the best efforts from all the players. Tuesday's matchup lived up to expectations.
Darien took the first set 25-15 and looked like they would have an easy go of it, but the Rams butted heads with the Wave and only narrowly lost in a hard fought match 25-23. However, the Rams reversed the tables in the third set and took down the wave 25-23 and brought an end to Darien's 68 set win streak.

The fourth set was also a hard fought contest that saw Darien prevail 25-19.
The Darien JV team beat New Canaan in two sets, remain undefeated, and have yet to lose a set this season.
