CT Weather Forecast: Work Week Weather And Mother's Day Weekend

Sunday wasn't a great weather day but there are some changes on the way in our weather forecast.

The weather on Sunday was pretty gloomy as Connecticut saw spotty rain showers and very gray skies. But the good news this week is we're in for some changes and in this instance change is largely good news. Temps will moderate in the middle of the week, and the forecast features plenty of sunshine.

There are a few chances for some rain showers and possibly thunderstorms too. The only major negative right now is the Mother's Day forecast looks cloudy and a chance of some rain showers.

The National Weather Service says, "High pressure will dominate the weather pattern over the region today through Tuesday. This will keep us dry through the entire period with the only exception being this afternoon and early evening when there`s a slight chance of a shower for some areas. The cloud cover will vary in amount for much of the time, and temperatures will be near normal."
