Anna Benson, Athlete Of the Month At Homefield In Centerbrook

ESSEX, CT — According to a recent Facebook post from Homefield in Centerbrook, congratulations are in order for Valley Regional High school sophomore, Anna Benson, for being chosen as the Homefield February Athlete of the Month.

The post reported that Anna was chosen because of her relentless work ethic, attitude and kindness. "Anna is always at Homefield putting in individual work, aside from Pitching Lessons and Hitting Instruction," the post read.

Anna plays Softball and Soccer for Valley, as well as Softball for the 18u Hornets and is a member of Valley's Student Council and Interact club.

Anna received a $50 Amazon gift card for her efforts.
