Positive COVID-19 Case Impacts Valley Regional High School

ESSEX, CHESTER, DEEP RIVER, CT — The respite is over! Although there has not been a positive Covid-19 case, that has impacted Region 4 schools since January 22, the reprieve has been broken and there was a positive case of Covid-19 impacted Valley Regional High School on Wednesday, February 17.

This letter was sent to VRHS families alerting them to the situation:

Dear Valley Regional School Community,
Today we were informed of a positive COVID-19 case impacting Valley Regional High School. The last date the individual attended VRHS was today, February 17, 2021.
This case impacts 1 additional student at Valley Regional High School. The administration has notified the student’s family who had verified close contact with the known positive case.
