Public Meeting To Discuss Region 4 Board of Education Budget

The Regional School District No. 4 Board of Education will present the proposed budget for the fiscal year 2021-2022 on April 5 at 7 p.m.

ESSEX, CHESTER, DEEP RIVER, CT — Tri-town residents concerned about the Region 4 Board of Education budget, mark your calendars for April 5, at 7 p.m. That's when a remote public district meeting of the electors and citizens qualified to vote at a town meeting in the towns of Chester, Deep River and Essex Connecticut will be held via google meet.

The Regional School District No. 4 Board of Education will present the proposed budget for fiscal year July 1, 2021, to June 30, 2022.

This meeting is not for the approval of the appropriation or adaption of the budget but is to provide information, and any person may voice their opinion on the requested appropriation or recommend the inclusion or deletion of expenditures in the proposed budget.

Copies of the proposed budget are available on the district website for Chester, Deep River, Essex and Region 4 at http://www.reg4.k12.ct.us and at the town clerk's office of each of the Towns of Chester, Deep River and Essex.
