Spring Sports At Valley Can Have Spectators

ESSEX, CHESTER, DEEP RIVER, CT — It's official, Valley Regional High School Spring Sports are allowed to have spectators. The following letter explains the guidelines for spectator attendance:

"Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,
After consulting with our local health departments and Superintendent White, we are excited to share that spectators will be allowed at spring sports events. Spectators will be able to attend Valley Regional home games and those that are hosted by other schools if allowed. Please check the Shoreline Athletic Conference Website which will be frequently updated with other Shoreline school spectator policies.
All spectators must wear a mask at all times and remain socially distant from one another. Please do not come to campus if you are not feeling well or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19. Please feel free to bring chairs and remain safely distanced along the sidelines of each field/event.
We are looking forward to a great spring season. We hope to see many new and familiar faces on the sidelines.
