The Arc of the Farmington Valley Receives $11K Grant

The grant was awarded by the Farmington Bank Community Foundation, to benefit a one-year internship for young adults with disabilities.

From Farmington Bank Community Foundation: The Farmington Bank Community Foundation recently provided an $11,650 grant to The Arc of the Farmington Valley, Inc. (Favarh) to support Project Search, a one-year internship for young adults with disability who are on a path towards independent, competitive employment. Favarh helps people with intellectual and developmental disabilities live as independently as possible, experience continual growth and live the lives they want to lead. The organization serves more than 400 children, young adults, seniors and families in the area.
