Child Who Fell Off Chairlift Released from Hospital

The boy who fell from a chairlift at Ski Sundown Wednesday evening was released from the hospital that same night, according to a press release from the ski area. 

Following is a release from Ski Sundown: 

On Wednesday evening, a six-year-old boy who was riding the chairlift with his father fell from the chair just prior to unloading. Ski Patrol was immediately called to the scene to provide medical attention.  

The child was alert and responsive, but as a precaution Life Star was called and the child was taken to the hospital. The child was discharged from the hospital that night.
