Democratic Candidates Selected in Farmington

On Tuesday, Democratic party members gathered to decide who will be running in the fall, reports the Hartford Courant.

Mary Jane Parlow and Amy Suffredini were nominated to run for the council from the 1st District and John Vibert and Bill Beckert were selected from the 2nd District. The committee chose Ned Statchen to run for council chairman.

Nominees for the Board of Education are newcomers Andrea Sobinski, Melanie Meehan, Liz Fitzsimmons, and Rebecca Tuttle.
