The Farmington Rotary announces its Spring fundraiser Dine ‘n Dance in the Gardens, which will take place on Saturday evening, April 13th, from 6 to 11 pm at Farmington Gardens on Route 4 in Farmington. Tickets are available for $75 per person and include the cheese station, 3-course seated dinner, live auction, and dancing. Music is provided by the award-winning Shaded Soul Band,whose repertoire includes R & B, Motown, Funk Soul, Jazz, Reggae, Swing, Rick, Pop, Disco, and Top 40. No one is expected to remain seated once the music begins!!
Exciting live auction choices are promised which so far include a CT River Lunch Cruise for six including a gourmet lunch and wine, a 6-month Membership at the Wheeler Regional Branch YMCA in Plainville, a 4-hour Performance of the Shaded Soul Band at your own event, and 2 tickets to a Patriots Home Game!
Funds raised at this event will benefit the many local and international projects of the Farmington club, including our scholarship program for graduating high school students, our support of the Oasis Program for veteran students at Tunxis Community College, and Rotary International’s Clean Water program. Many other projects are supported as our available funds allow.
