Farmington Obituary: Jennie Calitri, 90

Jennie K. Calitri, 90, of Farmington, beloved wife of Frank Calitri, passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 27th, 2018. Born June 25th, 1928 in Collinsville, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Kathryn (Hanzes) Kucia.

Besides her husband of 67 years, she is survived by her five children, Edward Calitri and his wife Cynthia of West Hartford, Linda Callahan of Glastonbury, Nancy Moon of Manchester, Diane Calitri of Edgartown, MA, Marsha Nedorostek and her husband Gary of Canton, her grandchildren, Nicholas, Tyler and Samantha Calitri, Eric Callahan and his wife Brooke, Christopher Callahan and his wife Letty, Alyssa Callahan and her fiancé Anthony Pagliughi, Adam Moon and his wife Missy, Bryan Moon, Danielle Willett and her husband Neil Onsdorff, Brandon Willett, Kelly Nedorostek and her fiancé Michael Smith, Jack Nedorostek and Kate Nedorostek, her great-grandchildren, Grace, Benjamin, Emilia and William Callahan and Hannah and Brock Moon, her brother, Alex Kucia and his wife Julie of Burlington, her sister Stephanie Richard of Ohio, her sister-in-law Shirley Kucia of Canton and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her 10 siblings and her son-in-law William Callahan.

Friends may call at the Ahern Funeral Home, 111 Main St., Rt. 4, Unionville on Saturday (Dec. 1) from 8:30 – 9:30 am. Funeral procession from the Ahern Funeral Home will be at 9:30 am followed by the Funeral Liturgy in the Church of St. Mary Star of the Sea, Unionville at 10:00am. Burial will be in the family plot at Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
