FARMINGTON, CT — To the Editor:

I've known Mike Demicco for more than two decades. He inspired me to get involved in the town and to run for the Town Council in the First District, a position he served in for seven years. He is more than my friend, he is our current State Representative! He has always been a tireless, selfless worker for our entire community. As a state representative, his work ethic and compassion have benefitted more than our town, but the entire state of Connecticut.

He listens and responds to every question and concern. He supports individuals and institutions in ways that make our community and our state stronger … better: tax cuts for senior citizens, better, equitable and more accessible education, access and care for people living with physical and health challenges. His fiscally responsible approach helped balance the state budget.

I greatly appreciate his passion for doing his work for the people with integrity, dedication, empathy and collaboration. He represents us all without agenda, pretense or malice.

In these divisive times, he has demonstrated the strength of character needed to guide our state successfully forward for the benefit of everyone.

As our State Representative for the 21st District, he needs to continue his exemplary work for Farmington, Unionville and the State. He has my support! And he deserves yours.
