FARMINGTON, CT — A California man charged with second-degree sexual assault in Farmington remained in custody Thursday morning on a $20,000 bond after a court appearance this week.

Farmington police Monday took 25-year-old Ryan Frascone into custody. Frascone, whose address is listed on a police report as Hollister, CA, was charged with second-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a child.

The incidents took place in 2016 and involved an underage girl, according to Farmington police. Frascone was 21 at the time, police said.

The warrant is sealed, police said.

Frascone's initial bond was $100,000, and that was reduced to $20,000 at a Tuesday arraignment, judicial system records indicate. He is due back before a judge on Nov. 10, records show.
