How did you come up with the name?

It’s our name and the our area of concentration.

Great location for rental, nice area, easy access for staff, nice surroundings.

Briefly, what business are you in?

We investigate benefit options for all size businesses then create wonderful communication material for the employees to better understand the “package” their employer is providing. We meet with employees to explain. We handle all the transaction related to this enrollment, ongoing issues both with the benefits and HR related issues.

What’s the most difficult moment or challenge you’ve faced as a business owner?

There are two issues-- staffing is always a difficult challenge of talent and availability. The other issue is law changes affecting benefits that has dramatically increased in the last few years.

What’s been your favorite moment or proudest achievement since opening?

Christine Andrews recently (18 months ago) was selected as one the Hartford Business Journals “women in business leaders.”

How does your business give back or get involved in the community?

We give both financially with sponsorship of various events and our full staff and owners have been active in the Hartford Marathon since its inception(1989). Christine Andrews is the director on the Hartford Marathon Foundation.
