The name of our business is a combination of our family last name, Bridgewater, and that we do work in the heating and cooling industry.

Why start a business in this town?

Our family roots are in Farmington, we raised our children here and have many close ties to this town. It only made sense to continue to provide services for the Farmington Valley and grow our community.

Briefly, what business are you in?

Our company provides residential and commercial heating, cooling and refrigeration to Connecticut residents. We do services, repairs and installs. Lately we have been doing a lot of ductless split systems in homes because of their quick installation and high efficiencies. We are going to start offering duct sealing in the near future which improves home efficiency as well.

What’s the most difficult moment or challenge you’ve faced as a business owner?

As a small business owner it can be difficult to get on your feet. It takes a lot of hours to promote our business and keep it running while maintaining our standards for customer satisfaction.

What’s been your favorite moment or proudest achievement since opening?

When we finish a job and the customer has nothing but positive things to say is such a proud moment for us. We work hard to maintain relationships with our customers and the community and it means so much when we get a phone call from someone who received a reference from a happy customer of ours!

How does your business give back or get involved in the community?

Every year we participate in Relay for Life and we have also helped with Habitat for Humanity. We believe that being involved in our community is the most important thing we can do.
