Farmington Student-Athletes Garner Football Honors

A pair of high school students from Farmington have been named 2019-20 Scholar Athletes by a prestigious football organization.

FARMINGTON, CT — A pair of high school student -athletes from Farmington have been named among 16 Scholar-Athletes for 2019-20 by the Doc Boisoneau Northern Connecticut Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame.

Jacob Conrad and Michael Gregory, both of Farmington High School, were named award recipients. The DBNCCNFF is a nonprofit educational organization that runs programs designed to use the power of amateur football in developing scholarship, citizenship and athletic achievement in high school football scholar-athletes.

Due to concerns over the new coronavirus pandemic, the 54th Scholar-Athlete Award Banquet will be a virtual presentation to honor the inductees. The virtual presentation will be Sunday, May 17 at 1 p.m.
