Farmington UNICO Celebrates Scholarships and Installation
Annual fundraisers provide scholarships and grants from Farmington UNICO
Farmington UNICO celebrated scholarships and installation of officers at the first in person meeting for the 2020-2021 year held at First and Last Tavern in Avon.
Scholarships were awarded to Conard graduates Alyssa Martinez and Ryan Roller, Hall graduates Sarah Goldman and Madina Mamedli, Farmington graduate Julia Novak and Crec Magnet graduate Nia Long. Alisa Monteiro Swain received a scholarship from Farmington UNICO IN 1981 and Carla Martin received a scholarship from Rocky Hill UNICO in 1979.
Bob Fiondella was thanked for serving as President of Farmington UNICO for the past 4 years. He was presented with an Official Citation from the General Assembly State of CT in recognition of his leadership and service.
