Hey there, Farmington!Â
How's everyone's summer going? Did you go on any fun vacations? I asked a Myrtle Beach native during my vacation what it's like to be a local there. Then I was wondering what kind of hyper local stories Patch would cover there. (Shark in the pond!) On the flip side, how would you answer that question if a tourist asked you that about living in Farmington? Discuss in the comments!Â
Have you watched all of the episodes of the new Arrested Development season yet on Netflix? Me too. Now what? I'm giving Mad Men a second shot. Fun fact. Michael Gladis, who plays ad man Paul Kinsey, grew up in Farmington and is the brother of WNPR radio personality Chion Wolf. Michael and Chion, if you're reading this, would you be interested in an interview? Call my work phone at 860-356-6339 or email me at Jessie.Sawyer@patch.com.Â

Possible alternate sites include Town Forest and "open space conveyed to the Town located to the rear of Autumn Estates."
