Hartford Federal Credit Union Raises $10K To Fight Hunger
The Thousand Champions of Hunger Campaign contributed more than 25,000 meals to people in need.

Despite the most challenging of circumstances, Hartford Federal Credit Union raised over $10,000 and collected hundreds of pounds of food through their THOUSAND CHAMPIONS OF HUNGER CAMPAIGN.

The Credit Union recently distributed $2,000 checks to Joan C. Dauber Food Bank at St. Francis Hospital, Newington Food Bank, South Windsor Food Bank, Simsbury Food Bank, and Safe Net Ministries (Stafford Springs). Through their wholesale channels, the food banks were collectively able to leverage contributions into 25,000 meals for those experiencing food insecurity.
